My name is Scott Franklin and I am the husband of the most wonderful wife in the world (You might think you can argue but don’t bother, you’d lose).

I am also the father of three wonderful children. I think they are the funnest people I’ve ever hung around. Nevertheless, they often drive me absolutely crazy. I swear that their brains fall right out of their head. Fortunately, I was just like them once and that keeps me from killing them. Plus, their so darned cute.

Oh, and of course there’s me. Scott Franklin, Ph.D., Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences at Texas Tech University, following seven years of teaching math at Wayland Baptist University. Don’t let the degrees fool you, I’m still that kid in his first sweater vest.
